Item Description
- You don't need to buy fancy shaped silicone molds, you can easily find inexpensive ice cube trays. (The ones that have push up silicone bottoms and lids are fantastic for your DIY items) The ones with lids are easy to stack out of your way while they are drying.
- Don't be tempted to make this mixture moister. Stick with the recipe so they dry/set properly. (Think wet sand consistency not saturated)
- Sizing of the tablets is important! Unlike DIY toilet or garbage disposal pods where size doesn't really matter, you will have to watch how thick/tall these tablets end up being, otherwise they won't fit in your dishwasher machine tablet area. Just visualize your store bought pods for reference. You may only need to fill your molds 1/2 or 3/4 for the first time. You will soon figure out sizing for the next batch you make.
