🐾🚫 Watch Those Woof-Sensitive Oils! 🚫🐾
Our furry friends are precious, and so is their well-being. Here's the scoop on essential oils to use with caution around dogs from the doTERRA lineup:
🌱 Melaleuca (Tea Tree) Oil: Potent and tricky for dogs, especially undiluted. Best to steer clear.
🌿 Birch Oil: It contains a dog-no-no – methyl salicylate, so let's keep it away from our pals.
❄️ Wintergreen Oil: More of that methyl salicylate, better to avoid it for their sake.
🌶️ Cinnamon Bark Oil: Super potent and can stir up tummy trouble for dogs. Keep it at a distance.
🌿 Oregano Oil: Intense and could give them digestive distress. Use sparingly and diluted.
🍃 Thyme Oil: Another tummy tickler for our fur babies, so a light touch with dilution.
🌼 Clove Oil: Highly concentrated and could lead to irritation – best to pass on this one.
🌬️ Eucalyptus Oil: Respiratory help for dogs, but dilute and use with care. Keep the air fresh when diffusing.
🍋 Citrus Oils: Lemon, Lime, and Wild Orange may not be their favorite scents. Use cautiously to avoid irritation.
🌸 Ylang Ylang Oil: This one can really chill them out. Use with restraint and keep the air flowing.
🌲 Arborvitae Oil: Could be a skin irritant for dogs, so hands off!
Remember, pups have their quirks. Start slow, watch their reactions, and when in doubt, call the vet for some fur-tastic advice! 🐕🌼🚫
