Natural Recipes for Spring Cleaning
DIY Laundry Soap
Here's a simple DIY laundry soap recipe using doTERRA essential
oils:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1 cup washing soda
- 1 cup castile soap
- 1/2 cup citric acid
- 20 drops doTERRA Lemon essential oil
- 20 drops doTERRA Lavender essential oil
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mix 1
cup of baking soda, 1 cup of washing soda, and 1/2 cup of citric acid.
2. Add 1 cup of castile
soap to the mixture and stir well.
3. Add 20 drops of
doTERRA Lemon essential oil and 20 drops of doTERRA Lavender essential oil to
the mixture and stir again.
4. Transfer the mixture
to an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place.
5. To use, add 1-2
tablespoons of the DIY laundry soap to your washing machine. This recipe yields
approximately 32 loads of laundry.
