Gardening, crafting, garage projects, endless hand washing… summer can be rough on hardworking hands. 🌿💜
This rich DIY hand salve is one of my favorite ways to give dry hands a little extra love.
✨ DIY Hand Salve ✨
What You'll Need:
• 5 tbsp beeswax pellets
• 1 cup coconut oil
• 1 cup olive oil
• 10 drops Guaiacwood essential oil
• 10 drops Copaiba essential oil
• 5 vitamin E capsules
• 2 oz or 4 oz glass jars with lids
How To Make:
Place beeswax and carrier oils into a glass measuring cup and warm over simmering water until melted. Add essential oils to your jars while waiting.
Test the texture by placing a small spoonful in the freezer for about a minute. Add a little more beeswax if you'd like a firmer salve or a little more oil for a softer texture.
Allow the mixture to cool slightly, add the vitamin E oil from the capsules, stir well, and pour into jars.
Perfect to keep beside the sink, in the garage, or tucked into your summer self-care routine. ☀️
